Split Ski Festival

The Split Ski Festival returns with a new twist for another incredible year, bringing the backcountry splitboarding and ski touring community of Revelstoke and Rogers Pass together once again! This celebrated event continues its mission to promote safety, stewardship, and camaraderie for backcountry splitboarders and skiers in one of Canada’s premier winter playground.

Taking place from January 5–7, the festival features an exciting lineup of activities, including film screenings, community gatherings, educational talks, and meetups. Whether you’re a seasoned backcountry adventurer or just getting started, the Split Ski Festival has something for everyone.

Festival Highlights
Friday: Arc’teryx Film Night
Kick off the weekend with a night of inspiration at the Revelstoke Performing Arts Centre. Hosted by ACMG guide and author Greg Hill, the evening features the Arc’teryx film The Pass and a presentation by professional skier and Girls Do Ski Director Leah Evans.
Doors Open: 6:30 PM
Tickets: $15 + fees (available online)

Saturday: Community Night & State of the Snowpack
Gather at the Revelstoke Community & Aquatic Centre for an evening of connection, learning, and fun.
5:00–7:00 PM

Trade Show & Mingle Bingo: Explore local vendors and visiting brands, enter raffles for prizes from Pulse Boot Lab & Ski Co. and Free Spirit Sports, and participate in the Mingle Bingo activity, organized by Open Mountains Project, to win extra raffle tickets.
Ladies Après Lounge: A special meet-up for women, led by community builder Jade Berrill as part of the She-Touring Social.

Florina Beglinger (ACMG Guide): Professional Pathways in Avalanche Safety

7:00–8:30 PM

State of the Snowpack Presentation and Panel Discussion: ACMG Guide Marty Schaffer leads this engaging session featuring Adam Zok and Ben Yeager.
Sunday: In-Bounds Touring Partner Meetup
Join the Alpine Club of Canada – Columbia Mountain Section for a casual, stress-free meetup at Revelstoke Mountain Resort. Connect with potential touring partners in a safe, in-bounds setting.
Time: 1:00 PM

A limited number of 50%-off resort vouchers (valid January 5) will be available for pickup at Saturday night’s event.
