80 cm’s at Whistler Blackcomb

Whistler Blackcomb

After a recent storm dropped nearly 80 cm of snow in the Alpine, Whistler Blackcomb is buzzing with anticipation for the upcoming season. Snowfall this early signals a promising start to the season, and conditions are aligning perfectly for a key new addition: the upgraded Jersey Cream Express lift, now moving from a 4-pack to a high-speed 6-pack chair.

Construction on the Jersey Cream Express project is three weeks ahead of schedule, thanks to hard work by the construction teams and partners, and is expected to be operational by opening day on November 22, weather permitting. This lift upgrade follows recent improvements across the resort, including the Fitzsimmons Express (2024), Big Red Express (2022), and Creekside Gondola (2022) replacement projects, all designed to enhance the guest experience with faster access to the slopes.
