Ian McIntosh – Big Mountain Skier

Ian “Mac” McIntosh could be the worlds best big mountain skier. Mac grew up in Invermere and ski raced at Panorama Mountain Resort. He was born into a family of avid backcountry skiers and has been skiing the backcountry from around eight years of age—that’s when he began falling in love with powder skiing.

Watch Mac shred one of the the gnarliest lines in history. This BC Coast Mountain line called “The Blue Wall” had been ridden before, but Big Mac’s approach was confident and hard charging.

This is why Mac is considered one of the best skiers on the planet.
