Glacier National Park Winter Permit System areas CLOSED
Parks Mountain Safety announced today that all Glacier National Park Winter Permit System areas will be CLOSED.
Attention Glacier National Park backcountry users: All Winter Permit System areas will be CLOSED until further notice due to high avalanche danger and potential avalanche control work.
The Rogers Pass Backcountry Access app will not be available due to planned website maintenance.
Entering Winter Prohibited Areas or closed Winter Restricted Areas is illegal. Visitors can still access unrestricted winter permit areas.
