Big White is ecstatic to be recognized as having the best snow in North America by the readers of Condé Nast’s Traveler. Their annual poll, which rated the top 20 ski resorts in North America, identified Big White as having cleared the field with more than 95% of the 32,000 readers agreeing that Big White is the place to go for quality snow.

“We’re blessed with over 7.5 meters of the best snow that Mother Nature provides. It’s a great honor to be recognized by the skiing public in such a respected international travel publication.” commented Big White Ski Resorts Senior Vice President Michael J. Ballingall. “I was playing in it on Saturday and tasted it for myself and agree it’s the best in North America” continued Michael J.

But that’s not all they came home with. Big White also ranked highly when it came to lift infrastructure and lines. With 18 lifts (6 high speed) and a total uphill capacity of 28,000 skiers per hour, guests never experience a long wait in the lift line.
